Job Opportunity

At Awana, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our sales and marketing efforts. As the Director of Sales and Marketing, you will be responsible for advancing the ministry of Awana by providing leadership and ownership for effective ministry expansion through promoting and selling Awana events, products, services, curriculum, and other resources primarily to churches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies for revenue growth through the promotion and sale of membership, curriculum, and events.
  • Build and maintain relationships with church leaders and organizations to promote Awana resources.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing campaigns.
  • Manage and analyze sales data to inform business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain sales reports to track and measure the success of initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the Christian marketplace.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in sales and marketing, with a strong understanding of CRM, SEO, and marketing automation.
  • Excellent communication and written skills, with the ability to craft messaging and marketing language for various campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of traditional and online marketing techniques, best practices of marketing, sales, fundraising, and non-profit organizations.
