Nurse Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Supervisor. As a key member of our nursing department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the unit, ensuring the highest level of patient care, and leading a team of nursing professionals.

• Organize and oversee unit activities and staff assignments, demonstrating clinical expertise and adherence to established nursing standards.
• Identify and respond promptly to patient needs, ensuring timely and effective care.
• Monitor and document vital signs, treatments, and patient responses, maintaining accurate records.
• Administer medications and treatments as needed, adhering to established protocols.
• Communicate and direct services to appropriate team members, resident families, and medical staff as needed.
• Identify and follow disciplinary action as stated in policy.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, and vendors to ensure seamless care.
• Perform RN assessments to residents post-incidents or changes in condition.
• Lead and direct emergency situations, maintaining a calm and composed demeanor.

• Current and active RN license in the State of New York.
• Experience working with geriatric, short-term rehab, and Alzheimer's patients is desirable.
• Progressive nursing experience and supervisory experience are preferred.
• Dedication to providing exceptional quality, compassionate care to each resident.
• Ability to work well under pressure, be flexible, and work harmoniously with all staff.
