Opportunity Overview

The IT Compliance Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information assets. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing our critical systems, technology architecture, and processes to ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate IT Compliance reviews and provided evidence from approximately 133 Business Units (BU) to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Work with BUs to ensure IT Compliance Reviews are submitted timely and accurately.
  • Examine, evaluate, and verify operating systems, procedures, internal controls, and recorded data for Information Technology and Information Security to ensure compliance.
  • Plan, develop, and execute information technology reviews and audits following a systematic, disciplined approach.
  • Conduct interviews for the purpose of understanding and evaluating business processes to assess the adequacy of internal controls.
  • Assist IT Compliance management in the execution of projects to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the department, including development of data analytics, auditing techniques, and internal metrics.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, across company businesses, with peers, managers, and directors as needed.
  • Document audit procedures performed and other required work papers in a clear, concise, and organized manner.
  • Think critically and operate with minimal supervision, accepting assistance from peers and management to ensure overall adequacy and accuracy.
  • Provide assistance and coordinates work with internal and external auditors as needed.
  • Communicate audit findings and follows-up to ensure remediation.
  • Write audit reports that document procedures and audit findings in an accurate, concise, and unbiased manner.
  • Demonstrate experience and knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST 800-171, CMMC, UK Cyber Essentials, and NIST 800-53.
  • Daily availability to include evenings and weekends when necessary to reach goals and deadlines.

Education and Experience

A Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university in a related field and 2-5 years of directly related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Audit, Compliance and/or Security certification(s) such as CISA, CISM, CGEIT, CISSP and/or equivalent experience are highly desired.

Computer Skills

  • Intermediate skills using Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Modest familiarity with IT and Information Security concepts.

Compensation

$51,300 - $68,495 per year. Pay Transparency: This is an estimate based on market conditions and industry standards. Actual compensation may vary depending on factors like location, experience, and qualifications.
