Job Overview
This Inside Sales/Traffic Safety Products Specialist role is a key position at Eberl Iron Works, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating sales and order processing from start to finish, serving as the go-to technical expert on the sales side of our website with extensive knowledge of our products and their various applications. This individual will also handle customer inquiries, phone calls, emails, and correspondence to acquire new business while working closely with our Customer Service Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answering customer phone calls, emails, and correspondence with the goal of acquiring new business.
- Handling price quoting, purchasing, returned goods tracking, customer complaints, and reporting to support sales.
- Continuously improving and streamlining order processing to reduce cycle times, decrease costs, and improve margins.
- Generating orders for production, tracking, and following their progress, then communicating this information to customers.
- Providing product information and answering questions from outside sales representatives and customers.
- Recommending products to meet customer needs.
- Completing all required reports, forecasts, and correspondence in a timely manner.
- Independently expanding knowledge of products, applications, markets, and competitive advantages to add value to the position.
- Actively participating in training programs, sales meetings, and events as requested.
- Developing a thorough understanding of our ERP system, Epicor.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- At least 2 years' experience in the customer service field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Benefits and Compensation
We offer a compensation range of $50,000 - $55,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additionally, benefits include Paid Vacation, Medical, Dental, Vision, and a retirement plan available.
