**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist for Audio/Visual Systems to join our team at SUNY Westchester Community College.

**Estimated Salary:** $63,000 - $73,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

**Job Description**

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support for end-users regarding hardware, software, and peripherals. They will also provide training for classroom technology and respond to user calls regarding audio/visual equipment issues in classrooms.

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing installation, maintenance, and relocation of audio/visual equipment.
  • Responding to user calls and submitting service tickets.
  • Tracking audio/visual equipment inventory and inputting data into an enterprise software system.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least three years of experience in the field where a primary function of the position was the installation, operation, and maintenance of audio/visual equipment.

You should also be proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and have strong communication, written, organizational, and presentation skills.

A valid driver's license is preferred, as well as proficiency in YouTube Livestreaming service, Microsoft Teams, Panasonic Projectors/Cameras, network protocols, wireless microphones, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
