Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

Samba Care is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to work in our Interventional Radiology department. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing examination rooms, administering radiopharmaceuticals, and positioning patients and equipment.

You will also be responsible for inserting commands and data into the computer, monitoring patients during examinations, and producing diagnostic images. Additionally, you will report important information to the Physician and update patients' records.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare examination rooms for patient examinations
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals to obtain clear, usable images
  • Position patients and equipment, ensuring their comfort and safety
  • Insert commands and data into the computer to document and specify scan sequences
  • Monitor patients during examinations, ensuring their safety and following procedures to prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation
  • Produce diagnostic images, report important information to the Physician, and update patients' records
  • Organize daily procedure schedules for emergencies and monitor radiographic supplies
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as answering technical questions and scheduling appointments
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on radiographic equipment
