Coating Machine Operator

As a Coating Operator, you will be responsible for operating coating equipment to achieve specific functionalities and properties as detailed in work order instructions. Your main responsibility is to perform all functions on the industrial machines from setups, material loading/off-loading, and cleaning. This position requires a high attention to details and ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities of this role include operating roll-to-roll coating equipment, mixing coating formulations, stringing webs and products through a line, cleaning equipment, and performing maintenance of equipment, general lab safety, and lab organization. You will also be required to collect data and measure product quality, and perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor, including ordering raw materials and participating in meetings and trainings.
Your physical demands will include lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds, operating handling equipment, and pushing roll carts that can carry up to 2,500lbs on them short distances. You will be frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
We offer a competitive compensation package, including $24.00/hr plus shift differential.
