We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in the Hackberry, LA area.
Job DescriptionAs a Heavy Equipment Operator with Bo-Mac Contractors, Ltd., you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy equipment, including earthmoving machinery, cranes, and forklifts. Your primary duties will include:
- Operating heavy equipment on outdoor construction sites
- Maintaining equipment in good working condition through regular cleaning and preventative maintenance
- Performing minor repairs to equipment as needed
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 5+ years of experience operating heavy equipment
- Ability to work outdoors in extreme temperatures and weather conditions
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- TWIC Card required
Preference will be given to candidates with a minimum of 5 years of experience operating heavy equipment at meets or exceeds performance expectations.
