Job Title: Senior Software Developer - Applications Programmer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer - Applications Programmer to join our team at Bank of America. As a Senior Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software applications that support business units or supporting functions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze complex business requirements and generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and implement software applications using in-demand languages and technologies to support business requirements
- Analyze highly complex business requirements and generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications
- Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation, and analysis efforts
- Lead projects and direct activities of a team related to special development initiatives or operations

Requirements:

- 5 years of experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) (OpenText Exstream, Messagepoint, Pega, Salesforce, etc.)
- Experience designing and developing correspondence documents (forms, statements, letters, disclosures, etc.) on multiple software platforms (Exstream, Messagepoint, etc.)
- Experience in independently leading the refinement of template requirements, managing the template development life cycle through production implementation
- Experience in designing, developing, and successful deployment of large-scale projects from end-to-end
- Hands-on experience in following the iterative and agile SDLC
- Excellent organizational, analytical, verbal, and written skills
- Able to communicate challenges and successes clearly and foster positive working relationships
- Proficient in MS Office Products especially Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

- Able to work well independently and in large group settings, as well as handle multiple assignments simultaneously
- Able to work in Agile environment and familiar with Agile Methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement
