We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Occupational Hand Therapist to join our team at ProRehab Physical Therapy. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in enabling our patients to achieve the best possible outcomes.

About the Role

As a Certified Occupational Hand Therapist, you will be responsible for analyzing comprehensive information from formal and informal assessments to determine a rehabilitation treatment diagnosis. You will perform diagnostic exams to evaluate and assess patient needs of the upper extremities, create treatment plans in accordance with instructions and consent of referring physicians, and evaluate patient treatment programs in coordination with the medical staff.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze comprehensive information from formal and informal assessments to determine a rehabilitation treatment diagnosis.
  • Perform diagnostic exams to evaluate and assess patient needs of the upper extremities.
  • Create treatment plans in accordance with instructions and consent of referring physicians.
  • Evaluate patient treatment programs in coordination with the medical staff.
  • Provide services that help improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of patients.
  • Fabricate custom-made splints and communicate with physicians to ensure patients receive the correct splint.
