Are you an experienced Avionics Technician looking for a challenging role in a business jet environment? Dassault Falcon Jet is seeking a skilled Avionics Systems Specialist to join our team at our state-of-the-art Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility in Melbourne, Florida. As an Avionics Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and installing avionics systems, performing complex troubleshooting, testing and repair of avionics systems and equipment. Your duties will include operating various digital and analog test sets, making minor metal repairs, and swinging and compensating aircraft compass systems. You must be able to troubleshoot aircraft systems using aircraft wiring diagrams and manufacturers installation manuals. You will also be responsible for installing and performing ground and flight checks of all avionics systems, ensuring that all work is performed to FAA and Dassault standards. Responsibilities:
  • Operate various digital and analog test sets for line troubleshooting of complex avionics systems
  • Make minor metal repairs, such as extracting bad screws and replacing racks
  • Swing and compensate aircraft compass systems
  • Troubleshoot aircraft systems using aircraft wiring diagrams and manufacturers installation manuals
  • Install and perform ground and flight checks of all avionics systems
  • Ensure that all work is performed to FAA and Dassault standards
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent required
  • Graduate from an electronics/avionics technical school or equivalent experience
  • Minimum two (2) years' experience as an Avionics Technician in a business jet environment
  • Supplies own tools required to perform job
  • Ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external customers
