Business Development Representative

US Foods, Inc. is seeking a talented Business Development Representative to join our team in the role of Territory Sales Manager. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, as well as identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
Salary: The estimated annual salary for this role ranges from $50,000 to $80,000, depending on relevant experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, you will also have the opportunity to earn commissions based on your performance.
About the Role:
Key Responsibilities- Foster customer relationships through a team-based selling model
- Manage deliveries according to the routing schedule and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the order process
- Communicate and collect accounts receivable as necessary, working with the credit department and clients
- Leverage resources to assist with top penetration opportunities and new account openings
- Develop new business by identifying prospective customers and leveraging market intelligence databases, business directories, and other resources
- Stay informed about market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales, and share information with customers as part of value-added services
- 1+ year of sales experience preferred
- Food service industry, culinary, restaurant management, or hospitality experience preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, presentation abilities, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to build internal and external relationships, cold call to develop new business, and provide exceptional customer service
- Competitive spirit, results-driven mentality, problem-solving ability, organization, negotiation skills, and teamwork
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office products and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools like Salesforce
