Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our team at LeChase Construction. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing large or multiple projects, managing project teams, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Oversight: Plan, direct, and manage assigned construction projects and personnel to ensure goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed schedule and budget parameters.
  2. Leadership and Communication: Attend project meetings, assess conditions that impact profitability and operation, and take a leadership role in meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  3. Mentorship and Development: Provide mentorship and guidance to new or less experienced personnel, helping them develop their skills and knowledge to succeed in their roles.
  4. Conflict Resolution and Customer Relations: Take a lead role in mediating project conflicts, resolving customer issues, and maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor.
  5. Financial Management: Monitor project billings and cash flow, discussing job cost reports, schedule status, and change orders with project teams to ensure financial stability.
  6. Safety and Quality: Promote a culture of safety and quality, striving for the highest possible safety performance and ensuring that projects meet or exceed quality standards.
  7. Preconstruction and Estimation: Collaborate with the preconstruction team or estimator on prospective projects, providing input and guidance to ensure accurate estimates and project feasibility.
  8. Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the success of the project management team and the company as a whole.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma, with a vocational or college diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 30 hours of OSHA training.
  • A minimum of 10 years of construction experience, with at least 3 years working directly with a specific account or market segment.
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively internally and externally.
  • Proven ability to mentor and develop new or less experienced team members.
  • Strong understanding of safety policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead project teams through the full lifecycle of a project, ensuring deliverables are on time and within budget.
