At Visiting Rehab and Nursing Services, we are committed to providing high-quality home healthcare services. We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary of $37-$40 per hour, depending on experience. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will be responsible for providing physical therapy treatments to individuals in their homes, monitoring patients' progress, and educating patients and families on how to perform exercises and activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing physical therapy treatments to individuals in their homes
  • Monitoring patients' progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary
  • Educating patients and families on how to perform exercises and activities
  • Maintaining patient records and documenting treatments

Requirements
  • MA Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team while working with a variety of patients and medical professionals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks, use a computer, including electronic medical records (EMR) systems
