We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Director Occupational Medicine Physician Assistant to join our team at Concentra. This role is ideal for a motivated and experienced professional who wants to take their career to the next level.
About the JobThe Medical Director Occupational Medicine Physician Assistant will be responsible for leading our occupational medicine team, providing direct patient care, and ensuring exceptional patient experiences. You will work closely with therapists and specialists to drive optimal clinical outcomes and case closure.
- Spends 100% of time in a center providing direct patient care, leading by example, and creating an exceptional patient experience.
- Ensures day-to-day execution of medical model collaborating with therapists and specialists to drive optimal clinical outcomes and case closure.
- Monitors key clinical center metrics that are provided by Clinical Analytics and relate to quality outcomes.
This position requires a high degree of autonomy, strong leadership skills, and excellent communication abilities. ResponsibilitiesAs a Medical Director Occupational Medicine Physician Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Creating a professional and collaborative working environment that promotes teamwork, quality, exceptional outcomes, and patient safety.
- Working with DMO to identify and implement changes to ensure continuous clinical improvement.
- Masters use of clinical systems to ensure efficiency, excellent supportive documentation, appropriate and optimal coding levels, charge capture, and follow-through on all patient care orders.
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
- Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction.
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Procedural skills.
- A minimum of two years of clinical experience.
- OCCUPATIONAL MEDICINE EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED BUT WE ARE WILLING TO TRAIN OTHERWISE QUALIFIED CANDIDATES IN THIS AREA OF MEDICINE.
The salary for this position is estimated to be in the range of $142,500.00 - $170,800.00 per year, depending on job-related factors such as level of experience, geographic location, and seniority. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, vision, prescription, dental plans, life insurance, disability, paid time off, holidays, and a colleague referral bonus program.
