Production Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to join our team at PLI Cards.
Job SummaryThe primary responsibilities of this role include assisting the supervisor and management in daily operations on the production floor. This may involve assisting other operators, completing monthly inventory counts of materials used in the production process, and addressing questions from other operators regarding quality and production issues.
Essential Job Functions:- Equipment Operation: Ability to operate most production equipment safely and efficiently.
- Job Specification Understanding: Familiarity with job specification format and terms to effectively communicate with other operators.
- Assistance and Support: Assist supervisors and other management personnel in helping other operators with task-related questions or quality concerns.
- Task Monitoring: Monitor other general machine operators and quality control operators to ensure proper procedures are followed.
- Inventory Management: Assist in completing monthly inventory counts for production materials.
- Time Entry Review: Review time entry sheets to ensure worked hours and jobs are accurately logged.
- ERP System Management: Complete material transactions in the ERP system at the end of each shift.
- Safety Protocols: Safely perform physical demands required by the job.
- Overtime and Additional Duties: Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or other management personnel, including working overtime as needed to meet customer needs.
- Prior Manufacturing Experience: Previous experience in manufacturing is essential for success in this role.
- Educational Requirements: A High School Diploma or GED Equivalent is required.
- Computer Literacy: Basic computer skills are necessary for effective performance.
- Math and Reading Comprehension: Strong basic math and reading skills are required.
- Multitasking: Ability to multitask and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for collaboration and problem-solving.
- Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented approach to work ensures accuracy and quality.
- Self-Motivation: Self-motivated individual who can work independently and as part of a team.
This position requires a regular schedule of 06:00am - 02:30pm Monday through Friday, with opportunities for overtime as needed to meet customer demands.
