Job Summary:
The Pennsylvania State University is seeking a Standardized Patient to work in the Simulation Center. As a Standardized Patient, you will be responsible for portraying real-life patient scenarios for medical students and professionals. This is a part-time position that requires on-site work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Portray real-life patient scenarios for medical students and professionals
- Participate in training and preparation to ensure accurate and realistic portrayals
- Work collaboratively with medical educators and learners to provide a high-quality educational experience
- Provide individualized feedback to learners on their communication and clinical skills
Requirements:
- High school degree or equivalent
- Basic computer skills, including typing and data entry
- Reliable email access and transportation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
