About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Materials Testing Professional to join our team at Universal Engineering Sciences.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to work as a Field Technician in our construction materials testing division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting on-site sampling and testing of concrete, soils, and other construction materials. You will also be required to complete and submit written reports daily, utilizing your excellent communication skills to effectively present information and respond to questions from supervisors, dispatchers, co-workers, clients, and contractors.

Responsibilities
  • Perform field sampling and testing activities on concrete, soils, and other construction materials.
  • Collect and transport samples to laboratories for further testing.
  • Conduct site inspections and take photographs or videos as necessary.
  • Analyze test results and prepare detailed reports summarizing observations and findings.
  • Communicate with managers, team members, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
Requirements
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • The ability to lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A willingness to obtain ATTI Certification and American Concrete Institute (ACI) Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade I certification.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
