Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Women's Behavioral Health Specialist to join our treatment team at POWER. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in helping women overcome addiction and related emotional health issues.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a difference in the lives of women seeking help. You will be responsible for working with clients in a gender-responsive and trauma-informed manner to develop individualized treatment plans and achieve their goals.

Your primary responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessments, providing individual and group therapy, and facilitating psycho-education groups and life skills development classes. You will also work collaboratively with other treatment team members to support clients in their treatment and recovery.

In addition to your clinical expertise, you will be expected to maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, participate in staff development and training as required, and comply with internal and external policies, procedures, regulations, and standards.

Requirements
  • A Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work or a related field, and a minimum of one year of clinical experience in a behavioral health treatment setting; OR A Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Social Work or a related field, and a minimum of three years' experience in a behavioral health treatment setting.
  • LPC, LCSW or LMFT preferred for master-level candidates and CADC preferred for bachelor-level candidates. Candidates who are not licensed or PCB-certified must be willing to work towards state licensure or full PCB certification within the first two years of employment.
  • Experience in a women-centered treatment environment or with gender-responsive care preferred.

Salary: $43,900 (Bachelor's level) - $57,800 (Master's level)
