Are you ready to unleash your sales prowess and drive growth for our clients? As an HCM Account Executive at Paylocity, you'll be responsible for prospecting and developing emerging market business sales relationships with potential clients and closing new and expanded sales agreements.

This is a fast-paced, quota-driven role that requires exceptional sales skills, persistence, and a passion for delivering results. You'll work closely with our Sales & Marketing team to identify opportunities, develop strategies, and tailor solutions to meet the unique needs of our clients.

In this dynamic environment, you'll have the opportunity to build strong relationships with clients, anticipate their needs, and think outside the box to unlock new possibilities. Your ability to create your own activity in the field, coupled with a consultative approach to sales, will make you a top performer in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate net-new business opportunities through proactive outreach and relationship-building
  • Present Paylocity services to prospective clients and negotiate sales agreements
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships within the Broker channel and other referral sources
  • Maintain contact with existing customers to determine needs for additional services
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and other events to promote Paylocity services
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quota for your territory

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 3-5 years' experience in sales preferred
  • Able to succeed in a competitive environment and maintain high activity standards
  • Critical thinking and decision-making skills required to handle objections and unexpected situations
  • Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications and the Internet
  • Mobility required for sitting, standing, walking, driving to client sites, and manual dexterity for computer use

The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000-$85,000 per year, plus variable commission plan and annual restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance. This role is eligible for a full range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, and a 401(k) match.
