Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC mill setup technician to join our team at Twin City Staffing. As a CNC mill setup technician, you will be responsible for setting up CNC mills with minimal to no assistance, uploading and running CNC programs, and ensuring parts meet all quality specifications through inspection using hand tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up CNC mills with minimal to no assistance
  • Upload and run CNC programs
  • Ensure parts meet all quality specifications through inspection using hand tools
  • Perform shop math calculations as required
  • Maintain and troubleshoot CNC equipment
  • Work with G&M codes to ensure efficient operations
  • Inspect completed parts and maintain production quality

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in setting up CNC mills
  • Certificate or diploma in Machining, Toolmaking, or a related trade
  • Strong understanding of G&M codes
  • Ability to upload programs to CNC machines
  • Proficient in using hand inspection tools
  • Fanuc Controller and Haas experience is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight production schedules
