About the Role

Cox Communications is seeking a highly skilled Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Explain and demonstrate product capabilities to customers, offering personalized solutions to meet their needs.
  • Meet or exceed targets for customer experience, sales, and retention.
  • Assist with store opening and closing procedures, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Participate in workshops, special events, and product demos to stay up-to-date on Cox products and services.
  • Support fellow sales agents and contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Continuously expand knowledge of Cox products and competitor offerings through regular training classes.
What We Offer

Cox Communications is committed to providing a competitive compensation package, including a variable targeted total compensation of $57,172 ($27.49/hr), with high earners reaching an average annual compensation of $73,959 ($35.56/hr). Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement planning, and paid time off.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college experience preferred.
  • Ability to meet established sales, retention, and customer experience targets.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively sell products and influence customer decisions.
  • Ability to build relationships and adapt to a diverse customer base.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Computer literacy with an aptitude for learning communication products and services.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
