Job Summary:

SITE Staffing is seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team in Milwaukee. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials and products throughout the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Forklift Operation: Operate a sit-down forklift with 2+ years of experience to transport materials and products throughout the warehouse.
  • Inventory Management: Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information to ensure accurate inventory tracking.
  • Work Orders and Instructions: Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs.
  • Production Tracking: Record numbers of units handled and moved using daily production sheets or work tickets.
  • Material Movement: Move freight, stock, and other materials to and from storage and production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, ships, and containers, by hand or using trucks, tractors, and other equipment.
  • Cargo Sorting: Sort cargo before loading and unloading to ensure efficient and safe material movement.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience operating a sit-down forklift
Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
