About This Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in Milwaukie, Oregon. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing quality physical therapy services to patients.

Job Summary

This is an ongoing part-time position working 32 hours per week with various shifts available. Your primary responsibility will be to administer physical therapy treatments to patients under the guidance of licensed physical therapists.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality physical therapy treatments to patients of all ages, following established treatment plans and professional standards.
  • Teach patient education classes and groups on specific disorders, as ordered by physicians and in accordance with departmental policies.
  • Communicate patient outcomes to evaluating therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate chart documentation, adhering to Kaiser Permanente and state licensure requirements.
Requirements and Qualifications:

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program, including basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology relevant to PTA.
  • Succesful completion of clinical internships.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid Physical Therapy Assistant License in the state where care is provided.
  • BLS certification within two months of hire.
