We are seeking a skilled Clinical Informatics Nurse to join our team, working closely with healthcare providers, nurses, and other stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes through the effective use of information technology.

Job Summary

The Clinical Informatics Nurse will play a crucial role in integrating healthcare science with information and analytical sciences to define, manage, and communicate data, information, knowledge, and wisdom in clinical practice.

This position requires a strong understanding of clinical workflow processes, electronic health records (EHRs), and technology solutions. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

About You

To be considered for this role, you must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and an active nursing license. A minimum of five years of experience as a Registered Nurse, including two years in a Clinical Analyst or Informatics position, is required. Verifiable EHR training and implementation experience is essential.

You should also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work at a detailed level and communicate effectively with clinicians, IT staff, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate workflow processes to identify opportunities for improvement and develop informatics solutions to support clinical practice.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, nurses, and IT staff to design, implement, and evaluate EHR systems and other technology solutions.
  • Develop test scripts and evaluate application changes based on expected outcomes.
  • Monitor user adoption of current and newly implemented information technology and functionality.
  • Synthesize data, information, and knowledge to recommend informatics solutions that enhance clinical workflow and patient care.
  • Utilize evidence-based nursing knowledge to guide practice and decision-making.

What We Offer
