Job Summary:

As a Sales Manager at Courtyard by Marriott Richmond, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and providing exceptional sales and administrative support to the Sales team. This role requires a strong understanding of the hospitality industry and excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate sales calls, client appointments, and site inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinating sales calls and client appointments to meet and exceed revenue targets

Preparing quotes and contracts for clients

Traveling within the local area to develop customer accounts and drive business into the hotel

Maintaining hotel and Sales & Marketing databases

Conducting research and competitive analysis to compile reports

Requirements:

High School Graduate or equivalent work-related experience

3-year experience in a similar position, preferably in the hospitality environment

Proven performer in a fast-paced, high-volume, and challenging role

Professional communication and interpersonal skills

Exceptional organizational and time management skills to achieve tight deadlines

Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office programs, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel
