Medical Equipment Technician/Delivery Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Medical Equipment Technician/Delivery Specialist to join our team at AdaptHealth LLC. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient delivery of home medical equipment to our customers.

Responsibilities:
- Delivery and Setup: Safely deliver and set up home medical equipment in customers' homes, clinics, or long-term care settings.
- Customer Education: Educate customers on the proper use and care of medical equipment, ensuring they understand how to get the most out of their devices.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, process orders efficiently, and ensure timely delivery of equipment to customers.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise during the delivery and setup process.
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and simple repairs on equipment as needed, following company procedures and guidelines.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you must have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and previous experience in sales, customer service, or healthcare is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:
This position offers a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off. Additionally, you will receive ongoing training and development opportunities to help you grow in your career.
Work Environment:
This is a physically demanding role requiring regular lifting and movement of heavy equipment (up to 50 pounds). You must be able to work in various environments, including homes, clinics, and long-term care facilities, and be comfortable interacting with people from diverse backgrounds. You will also need to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information according to HIPAA guidelines.
