As our Repair Technician (Guitar), you will provide maintenance and repair services on customer-owned instruments, assist in maintaining specific store inventory, continually building and increasing the business through great customer experience and quality work.
A few key characteristics that make our Repair Technicians successful:
- Customer Focus: Understands customer service principles, providing an excellent customer experience. Connects with customers in a meaningful way, being approachable, genuine, knowledgeable, encouraging, passionate, and committed to helping customers.
- Initiative: Identifies opportunities & issues, following through on work activities to capitalize or resolve them. Learns quickly and takes positive action without being requested to do so, developing knowledge and skills including product, store operations, sales, and leadership.
- Selling: Works through GC certification program to gain a base understanding of products and sales techniques.
- Training: Effectively trains learners and communicates information and techniques so they are retained.
As our Repair Technician, you will:
- Interact with customers, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Service customer-owned instruments with a high level of craftsmanship.
- Maintain store owned gear, as requested.
- Complete warranty repair work.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Skilled understanding of repairing Guitars.
Preferences:
- Foundational product knowledge on Guitar Center products.
We offer a competitive salary range of $16.00/hr - $24.00/hr plus commission depending on background and experience.
