**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced MRI Scanner Technologist to join our team at Christus Health. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing complex and specialized procedures using state-of-the-art computerized MRI diagnostic imaging equipment.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of diagnostic procedures, including some of a more complex nature.
  • Demonstrate competency with respect to MRI exams, procedures, and the use of pressurized injection equipment.
  • Assist Radiologists in invasive and biopsy-type procedures using MRI equipment to pinpoint anatomical locations.
  • Program the computer to assure completion of exams and store scan data correctly on PACS for future reference.
  • Coordinate and prioritize procedures during the workday to maintain high patient care and continuity.

**Requirements:

  • Graduate of AMA-approved School of Radiological Sciences or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
  • 3 years of experience in a clinical imaging setting highly preferred.
  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) certification from ARRT or ARMRIT preferred.
  • Current state licensure required.
  • BLS required.

**Work Environment:

This position is located at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital - Westover Hills, a 150-bed hospital serving the fastest-growing area of San Antonio.

**Estimated Salary:** $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
