Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned MEP Superintendent with a specialty in Healthcare to join our rapidly growing team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and overseeing all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) aspects of commercial and healthcare construction projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all MEP phases of healthcare and commercial construction projects from inception to completion.
2. Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure project objectives are met.
3. Monitor and ensure compliance with building and safety regulations.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to MEP systems.
5. Provide technical advice and solve problems on-site.
6. Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, and cost tracking reports.
7. Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
8. Manage the scheduling, inspections, quality control, and job site safety associated with all MEP aspects of the project.
9. Assist in the selection and contracting process of subcontractors and suppliers.

Requirements:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an MEP Superintendent or MEP Healthcare Superintendent in the construction industry.
2. Proven experience in managing commercial projects, higher education, and healthcare construction.
3. In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines.
4. Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
5. Excellent project management and supervision skills.
6. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
9. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
