We are hiring adjunct faculty members to teach a variety of courses in the Department of Theatre and Music Studies. The successful candidates will have a Master's degree in theatre, music, or a related field from an institution accredited by the U.S. Department of Education, or an internationally recognized institution, or commensurate experience.

The salary for this position is $4,000 per 3-credit course. The work schedule is Monday through Friday. Benefits may be eligible, and the position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching a variety of courses in the Department of Theatre and Music Studies
  • Developing and implementing curriculum that aligns with the department's goals and objectives
  • Engaging with students, faculty, and staff to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Participating in departmental meetings and contributing to the development of departmental initiatives
  • Meeting the requirements of adjunct faculty members as outlined in the university's contract

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in theatre, music, or a related field from an institution accredited by the U.S. Department of Education, or an internationally recognized institution, or commensurate experience
  • Experience teaching a variety of courses in the Department of Theatre and Music Studies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
