Overview

The Assistant General Counsel will provide legal advice and support to Nationwide Children's Hospital, ensuring compliance with federal and state healthcare laws and regulations. This role will work closely with the General Counsel and other attorneys to develop creative solutions to complex issues.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide legal review and analysis of Hospital policies, procedures, and decisions.
  2. Review, negotiate, and assist in the development of Hospital contracts with physicians and other healthcare providers.
  3. Offer advice and support to Hospital staff members on legal compliance and risk management.
  4. Partner with the Nationwide Children's Hospital Integrity and Compliance Program to review and develop processes and procedures.
  5. Complete projects assigned by the Deputy General Counsel and other attorneys in a timely manner.
  6. Participate in Hospital committees and attend annual training sessions.
Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

Education: Juris Doctorate and licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio, required.

Experience: 4-6 years engaged in the practice of law, with a focus on healthcare law.
