Nurse First, a reputable travel agency dedicated to providing exceptional experiences for nurses, is seeking a highly skilled Travel Care Specialist to join their team in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) role in Portales, New Mexico.

About the Role

This 13-week assignment offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while experiencing the unique culture of the region. As a Travel Care Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a progressive care setting.

The ideal candidate will have at least 12 months of experience in a PCU or similar setting, with a strong foundation in critical care nursing principles. The successful candidate will be able to effectively communicate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to provide seamless care.

We offer a competitive salary range of $145,000 - $170,000 per year, based on a 36-hour workweek and 12-hour shifts, including nights. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes holiday pay, guaranteed hours, continuing education opportunities, mileage reimbursement, referral bonuses, medical, dental, and vision coverage, license and certification reimbursement, and life insurance.
