Program Coordinator

The Program Coordinator is a key member of the SUNY CPD Delivery and Services Team, responsible for supporting a wide range of training and professional development activities. This role requires a strong ability to work in a team environment, interact with diverse staff and leadership, and leverage web-based technologies to enable the work.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the delivery of university-wide professional development and training programs, community meetings, virtual and in-person conferences, online and in-person workshops/courses, webinars, and hybrid programs and events.
Utilize Event/Registration Management System, Virtual Conference Platform, Brightspace Digital Learning environment, Credly Badging system, Survey Tools (SurveyMonkey), Webinar Tools (Zoom), and Collaboration tools (MS Teams/Google) to facilitate program execution.
Manage onsite event logistics, including travel within New York, and ensure seamless execution of events.
Collaborate with team members to develop and implement professional development programs, leveraging expertise and resources to meet the needs of diverse audiences.
Maintain accurate records and databases, utilizing online database systems for tracking/management of program/customer information.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited higher education institution in an appropriate field, with two years of relevant experience, including experience working with diverse groups of people and with events for diverse audiences.
Demonstrated experience in supporting and executing professional development events, with fluency in office productivity tools, such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Zoom.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational abilities, quantitative skills, ability to meet deadlines, technical aptitude, and ability to work independently with limited direction and in a team.
Customer service orientation and ability to act as a resource to customer base, with accuracy in record keeping and experience leveraging web-based technologies.
Proven ability to forge collaborative relationships, working effectively in a team environment, and interact with numerous and diverse staff and leadership at all levels of the organization.
Comfortable with and open to innovation and learning new technologies to enable the work, with a love of learning and for continuing education, life-long learning.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a higher education environment
Experience in training / teaching
Knowledge of the SUNY System and experience working with campus staff
Knowledge of major SUNY initiatives, and trends within the industry of higher education
