Compensation

We are offering a competitive salary of approximately $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, along with excellent benefits packages.


Job Description

As a Technical Supervisor for our High-Complexity Testing CLIA LAB, you will be responsible for overseeing the testing process, ensuring accuracy and precision, and implementing quality control measures. Your key duties will include:


  1. Selecting appropriate test methodologies for clinical use;
  2. Verifying procedures for testing performed and establishing laboratory performance criteria;
  3. Enrolling the laboratory in approved proficiency testing programs;
  4. Establishing quality control programs and ensuring acceptable levels of analytic performance;
  5. Resolving technical problems and taking corrective actions when necessary;
  6. Ensuring patient test results are not reported until all corrective actions have been taken;
  7. Identifying training needs and providing regular in-service training to testing personnel;
  8. Evaluating competency of testing personnel on an ongoing basis;

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:


  1. Qualification as a Director for high-complexity testing;
  2. OR Qualification as a Technical Supervisor for high complexity testing;
  3. OR A doctoral degree in clinical laboratory science or a related field with 1 year of training and experience in high-complexity testing;
  4. OR A master's degree in clinical laboratory science or a related field with 1 year of training and experience in high-complexity testing;
  5. OR A bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science or a related field with 1 year of training and experience in high-complexity testing;
  6. OR An associate degree in medical laboratory technology with 2 years of laboratory training or experience in high complexity testing.
