Custodian Position

Tylok International Inc. is seeking a reliable and dedicated Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various housekeeping and maintenance duties to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our facility.

The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas within the facility, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of restrooms and assigned areas, and ensuring safety on stairs, ramps, and sidewalks by removing snow, ice, and other potential hazards.

Additionally, the Custodian will be responsible for washing facility laundry, removing debris, and washing windows as needed, utilizing hand-operated, power scrubbing, waxing, and vacuuming equipment efficiently, and performing minor repairs to building fixtures and equipment.

The Custodian will also be responsible for maintaining facility grounds by watering, fertilizing, trimming, and cultivating lawns, flowers, shrubs, and trees, and performing routine preventative maintenance on grounds-keeping equipment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping roles is a plus.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work efficiently under general supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and dedication to maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Basic understanding of minor repairs and maintenance tasks is desirable.
