Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Sous Chef to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for managing kitchen efficiency, ensuring safety and sanitation protocols, and producing high-quality food. You will collaborate closely with restaurant managers to oversee all aspects of food and beverage service.

Responsibilities
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, purchasing, and receiving.
  • Maintain the highest level of food quality and manage waste.
  • Oversee employee schedules and provide support throughout the shift.
  • Train and develop hourly personnel.
  • Maintain a clean and organized facility, adhering to local health regulations.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of kitchen experience in a similar role.
  • A degree in Culinary Arts is a plus.
  • Experience in leading and supervising hourly team members.
  • Experience working within budget parameters.
  • Knowledge of scheduling and restaurant software programs.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and best practices.
