Mental Health Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated individual to provide therapeutic environments and facilitate ongoing treatment for persons with mental illness in an inpatient setting.

About the Role:

As a Mental Health Support Specialist, you will implement treatment plans, conduct therapeutic activities, and interact with patients to encourage appropriate behavior.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and monitor treatment plans to achieve positive patient outcomes
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions and one-on-one interactions with patients
  • Monitor signs of mental and physical illness, providing timely responses
  • Foster patient self-esteem through teaching and role modeling

Requirements:

  • Prior experience or education in human services, including psychology, nursing, or social work
  • Knowledge of behavioral interventions, mental health disorders, and medications

Salary and Benefits:
