At Greater Philadelphia Health Action, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Protective Services Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our patients, staff, and visitors.

As a Protective Services Specialist, you will be responsible for patrolling our facilities, investigating disturbances, and managing aggressive or violent behavior. You will also be required to verbally warn individuals of rule infractions and physically guide or escort aggressive persons to safety when necessary. In emergency situations, you will secure aggressive individuals in a safe position until law enforcement arrives.

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have at least three years' experience as a security officer or certification from a security officer training program. They will be knowledgeable of safety and security requirements and committed to continuous learning. The successful candidate will be able to deal effectively and professionally with people, anticipate problems, and use preventive intervention techniques. CPR certification is also required.
