Job Summary

As a Trumpf Application Engineer, you will work closely with customers to understand their processes and needs, providing expert guidance on product optimization and troubleshooting. Your excellent customer service and communication skills will be essential in ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct site visits to understand customer processes and needs.
  • Troubleshoot and provide recommendations for product optimization.
  • Assist customers with unique programming issues and training.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through positive interactions.
  • Instruct customers on machine operations, maintenance, and safety.
  • Maintain detailed service reports and follow safety protocols.
  • Complete necessary training and stay informed on product applications.
  • Provide technical advice to optimize software and machine efficiency.
Requirements
  • Degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in applications, and installations (minimum 5 years).
  • Experience working on lasers, press brakes, punches, system software, and material handling solutions for processing sheet metal and structural steel.
  • Proficiency in basic computer and CNC programming skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
  • Deep knowledge of Trumpf applications.
  • Sheet metal experience.
