Job Summary

Vizmeg Landscaping is seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Vendor Management
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish strong relationships with vendors.
  • Monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance with quality standards and delivery timelines.
Procurement Strategy
  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to optimize costs and improve efficiencies.
  • Stay informed about market trends, pricing, and industry best practices to make informed purchasing decisions.
Cost Negotiation
  • Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers to secure advantageous agreements.
  • Analyze and compare prices, terms, and quality to make the best purchasing decisions.
Inventory Management
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and reorder points.
  • Collaborate with project managers to forecast material requirements for upcoming projects.
Compliance and Documentation
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
  • Keep accurate records of purchases, contracts, and agreements.
Requirements
  • 3 years of proven experience as a Procurement Specialist or a similar role.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
