Pipe Welder Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Pipe Welder to join our team at Manhattan Mechanical Services. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality welds on carbon steel and stainless steel pipes in various positions.

The successful candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to ensuring the highest level of quality in their work. You will work closely with our QA/QC Department to ensure all work meets the required standards.

• Produce x-ray quality welds on carbon steel and stainless steel pipes in various positions using SMAW and GTAW processes
• Identify and mitigate potential hazards during pipe cutting and beveling operations
• Familiarize yourself with piping isometric drawings, weld maps, blueprints, and P&ID's
• Install piping and piping components according to specifications
• Cut and bevel piping using oxyfuel, plasma, and mechanical equipment

• Three to five years of experience in pipe welding and fabrication
• NCCER certification in related trade (knowledge verified and performance verified)
• Ability to pass an assessment in both SMAW and GTAW welding processes
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
