About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Life Support Specialist to join our team at Atlantic Health System.

Job Summary

The Advanced Life Support Specialist will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and education in emergency medical services. This is a per diem position that requires flexibility and adaptability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide ACLS/PALS instruction to students, demonstrating effective teaching skills and adapting to meet individual learning needs
  • Travel to off-site course locations within the communities served by AHS, maintaining punctuality and professionalism
  • Maintain confidentiality of student progress and outcomes, reporting any issues to Lead or Coordinator in a timely manner
  • Complete required paperwork accurately and return completed documents to Coordinator in a timely fashion
  • Educate students on the importance of security protocols, ensuring proper equipment cleaning and restocking after each class
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred; High School Diploma or GED required
  • Recent clinical experience in emergency, critical care, or field settings preferred; prior educator/instructor experience also preferred
  • Valid DL with unrestricted driving record; ability to lift 45 lbs
Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is between $75,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
