We are seeking a skilled Senior Sales Manager to join our team at the Plaza San Antonio Hotel & Spa Autograph Collection in San Antonio, Texas. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building relationships with clients, qualifying their needs, and selling our hotel to meet their requirements.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hotel sales experience and a bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand the overall market trends, competitors' strengths and weaknesses, and economic conditions to develop effective sales strategies.
  • Verify that business booked is within hotel parameters and close the best opportunities for each property based on market conditions and individual property needs.
  • Utilize White Lodging marketing initiatives and incentives to secure sales and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of hotel sales experience.
  • Strong leadership skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, and a professional demeanor.
  • Mastery of the reactive and proactive sales process.
  • Ability to make complex business decisions and understand contract knowledge.
