Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Support Professional to join our team at the Piedmont Healthcare Buckhead Pulmonary Sleep Clinic. As a member of our clinical staff, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic.
About the Role:
- You will be responsible for greeting patients, obtaining medical histories, documenting patient information, and performing various clinical tasks under the supervision of licensed personnel.
- Assist with administrative duties, including procedure scheduling, completion of medical history forms, and other related tasks.
- Prepare and maintain examination/treatment rooms, ensuring a clean and organized environment for our patients.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and attend required meetings and training sessions.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to established policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies to ensure seamless coordination with healthcare teams.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program or completion of a Nursing Assistant program. In lieu of formal education, one year of medical assistant or related clinical experience is also acceptable.
A valid BLS certification and certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or a similarly recognized organization are required. Additionally, you should have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this position is estimated to be between $45,000 and $60,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Piedmont Healthcare offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
