Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our team on a full-time basis. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and mentor nursing staff in delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Spearhead the delivery of exceptional patient care by overseeing the facility and guiding the nursing staff during shifts.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to direct, coordinate, and supervise the Nursing Services Department.
  • Supervise nursing services for the facility during shifts, ensuring compliance with the Nursing Practice Act, facility policies, and local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Provide support and guidance to nurses during acute episodes.
  • Address employee concerns in a timely manner and document actions taken.
  • Take on on-call responsibilities as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid Registered Nurse license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing and proof of renewal every two years.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing quality patient care and adherence to doctor orders.
  • CPR certification renewed annually.
  • Prompt attendance at in-service training and staff meetings as required.
  • Ability to supervise nursing staff effectively, ensuring timely completion of work assignments.
  • Excellent understanding and adherence to personnel, departmental, and facility policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal requirements.
  • Long-term care experience preferred.
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position ranges between $62,000 - $80,000, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including background checks and a drug-free workplace policy. EOE applies.
