Job Summary

As a Neurosurgery Specialist at Trinity Health, you will be responsible for the surgical treatment of diseases affecting the brain, spinal cord, and nervous system. Your expertise will be crucial in performing intricate surgical procedures, managing preoperative and postoperative care, and employing advanced techniques to improve outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Comprehensive Evaluations and Consultations: Provide thorough evaluations and consultations for patients with neurological disorders.
  • Surgical Treatment: Diagnose and treat conditions such as brain tumors, spinal disorders, aneurysms, and traumatic brain injuries.
  • Surgeon Skills: Perform a range of surgical procedures, including craniotomies, spinal fusions, and minimally invasive techniques.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including preoperative assessments and postoperative management.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about conditions, treatment options, and recovery processes.
Qualifications:
  • Clinical Expertise: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
  • Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery.
  • Medical License: Valid medical license to practice in North Dakota.
  • Strong Surgical Skills: Strong surgical skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
  • Effective Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate Caregiver: Compassionate attitude and commitment to improving patient outcomes.
Compensation and Benefits
