Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Audiologist to join our team of healthcare professionals at Align ENT & Allergy.

This is a full-time opportunity that requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. As an Audiologist, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with hearing and balance disorders.

About the Role:

  1. Hearing Assessment: Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations using state-of-the-art diagnostic tools to identify hearing and balance disorders.
  2. Patient Consultation: Provide clear and compassionate consultations to discuss test results, explain diagnoses, and recommend personalized treatment options.
  3. Treatment Planning: Develop customized treatment plans based on individual patient needs, which may include hearing aids, assistive listening devices, or other therapeutic interventions.
  4. Hearing Aid Fitting: Offer expert guidance on selecting, fitting, and adjusting hearing aids for optimal comfort and performance.
  5. Counseling: Provide counseling and support to patients and their families regarding hearing loss, communication strategies, and coping mechanisms.
  6. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, such as otolaryngologists, speech-language pathologists, and primary care physicians, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  7. Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including test results, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  8. Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with advancements in audiology research, technology, and best practices to continuously improve patient care.
  9. Community Outreach: Participate in community outreach programs to raise awareness about hearing health and promote preventive measures.

Requirements:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program.
  • State licensure and certification as an Audiologist.
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Compassion and empathy for individuals with hearing challenges.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
