Camp Counselor

Job Summary:

The Pennsylvania State University is seeking a Part Time Camp Counselor to work with our summer camp program. As a Camp Counselor, you will be responsible for supervising campers on dorm floors at night and may be required to supervise campers during other down times during camp sessions as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise campers on dorm floors at night
• May be required to supervise campers during other down times during camp sessions as needed
• Pass Annual Compliance, Mandated Reporter trainings, and Pennsylvania mandated background checks (Child Abuse, PA Criminal, FBI Clearances)
• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with children and adults. A background in education, child development, or a related field is preferred.
