Pain Management Specialist

Job Summary
Priority Care Clinics is seeking a certified Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Delaware, Virginia, and Baltimore offices. This role requires previous experience in pain management and/or orthopedics.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations of patients with pain-related concerns.
- Review patient medical history.
- Administer and monitor medication management for pain relief, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Consult with other providers to decide on therapy or treatment programs for patients.
- Utilize knowledge and skills to find effective non-invasive treatment options.
- Perform joint injections.
- Provide patient education on pain management techniques, lifestyle modifications, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest advancements and research in pain management through continuous learning and professional development.
Requirements
- Active VA/MD license.
- Previous experience in pain management is preferred.
- Excellent clinical skills, including physical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative, demonstrating a high level of autonomy in decision-making.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
- Dedication to providing compassionate and patient-centered care, with a focus on improving the quality of life for individuals living with chronic pain.
- Commitment to maintaining professional ethics, confidentiality, and adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
Salary and Benefits
This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $180,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, Priority Care Clinics provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
